Ronin gazed over the horizon, and spotted a trade ship in the distance. He glanced at his comrade, Tementeye. The battle which had occured only hours ago now seemed distant, far away. It was now daybreak, the sun peering over the sea like a fox on a wall. Tementeye and Ronin realised that they had to get off the island. On the beach, they found a mirror, and a few bottle of rum.

"Well... this sucks," Tementeye said to Ronin. “We need to signal that ship. Tementeye unsheathed his katana and used it to reflect the morning light at the trade ship, hoping someone aboard would notice.

Ronin, who just realized that he hasn’t eaten in more than 24 hours, decides to go hunting for food inside a nearby forest. Suddenly, he gets caught in a snare...

Tementeye had been signaling for a while. But then, the ship started turning towards the island. They were going to be rescued! Tementeye ran into the forest, only to find his partner caught in a snare. “You, uh, ok there?" he asked with a chuckle.

"damn snare..." said ronin, who had cut the snare with a knife he keeps in his pocket for just an occasion. “all right, i’m ready to go when you are!" The only food that Ronin caught was a lizard he accidentally stepped on... foods food...

"I signaled a ship!" he exclaimed with joy. “It’s coming to get us!" he yelled behind him as he ran to the beach.

"huzzah!" exclaimed Ronin... he sprinted up to Tementeye and they both ran up the short plank up to the ship. The ship was a moderate size and it appeared to be a trading vessel.
