I don’t understand why Green Ninja had to lock the ICP hate topic. We are entitled to our opinions. Just because you’re a fan of ICP, it doesn’t mean we can’t make a topic flaming ICP. It’s not against the rules on moviecodec.

She had a right to because it had no real point. And it would turn into yet another ICP love/hate thread. If the band sucks, then don’t talk about them; bring attention to the dudes that deserve more mentions like the Juggaknots (Clear Blue Skies EP) and Blu & Exile (Below the Heavens).
it’s actually not considered flaming. let me re-word myself. because this is a music section, we are entitled to express our opinions about music. if there is a topic about one thing, there should be legitimacy in making a topic that counters it. and like many of you have said before, people who don’t like certain bands should stay out of the topics made about those bands. i am not asking anyone who loves ICP to write under this topic nor am i encouraging anyway who hates ICP to write in the ICP fan club topic. i just want to talk to people who hate ICP in this topic. it is assumed that the people who are interested in hating ICP will only talk about hating ICP, not flaming each other or insulting each other because we all have a common interest.

In the earlier ICP hate topics, and in this one as well *most likely* you will get noobish guests from both the haters and the fans who will bitch at each other, threaten to kill one another, and other various things.
THAT is why those topics were locked. And if it happens here, this topic will be locked as well. No matter what you say, do, or try.

It still shouldn’t of been locked whenever you mention any bands name in a topic people from both sides of the argument are going to show up. so if the topic was about loving ICP people who don’t like it would still show up so it’s really a moot point in the end

Yeah, those topics were locked too.. For the same reasons.
Topics built on hate just attract hate. Those types of topics (mainly concerning ICP, I mean) did so quite a lot.
It’s the fact that it got out of hand and is known very often to do so.
-shrugs- I don’t see anything wrong with what she did; I remember exactly why the Rev Sucks thread was locked and why those threads were similarly locked, and she basically followed what was already put forth.
