....what?! You said it’s for the Jews! Plus, you can’t pick and choose. Although, considering how its written, you can’t do everything it asks either. I think we might have an entirely different religion if the now a day christians ALL ONLY followed the New Testament.

They needed a book so they alonge with priests choose what scripturese were going to be put into the bible. This can be applied to any book or story really...
Satan is a creation of the Abrahamic religions that represents all the pagan gods rolled into one. The Pagan gods and godesses weren’t always considered evil before Judaism, Christianity and Islam came along.
The thing is, Pagan Gods tend to be more like humans in their personalities; they have both good and bad things about them. They also are rarely 100% omnipotent or omniscent, though they are usually very powerful and wise despite this. Monotheistic Gods, however, are always represented as all loving, all powerful and all knowing. Why is this?
