I’ve only been listening to Black Metal for a few months, so i’m rather new. But by far its my favorite genre of metal.

Its a tie between Black and Death metal...

What are the best albums?

Isa and Ruun by Enslaved are exceptionally good too.

Fas - Ite, Maledicti, in Ignem - Deathspell Omega

And there’s a lot of Blackened Death out there that’s amazing, like Acercocke.

However I think their works Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice and Kenose are their best.

Also, Strength and Honour by Satanic Warmaster

Black Metal by Venom

And finally, With Vilest Of Worms To Dwell by Hollenthon. It’s got a more symph sound to it like Emperor but a bit different.

As for blackened death, Destroyer 666 and Zyklon are insane.

As I said, I do like some albums and bands, Such as celtic frost, venom, some mayhem, immortal, behemoth(I know, blackened death), sarcofago, darkthrone blah blah blah.......


but other than that, Ive never really had the patientnce to start listening to it...
