Sauron isn’t a mere human. He is an evil Maiar, and he can only be harmed by ENCHANTED WEAPONS, and that means weapons either blessed by the Elves or the Istari. Even then, it has to hit the exact point where Saurons ring is to sever it.

Even if Darth Vader chops the ring off, he still has to destroy the ring in the fires of Mount Doom before Sauron will truly be destroyed. Now, as I understand it, the more power hungry you are, the more control the ring has over you.

Because Darth Vader won’t be able to destroy the ring, Sauron will live on, and because the ring controls Vader, so will Sauron. So it will only be a matter of time before Sauron comes back and Vader is either dead or Saurons mere servant.

It happened to Isildur, it happened to Gollum and it almost happened to Frodo. Therefor Darth Vader, being 20 times as greedy as all of these people, will probably be 20 times as likely to become a slave to the ring.

PS: I think before you should even be able to comment on this thread, you should have at least seen Star Wars 4-6 and read either The Lord of the Rings or The Silmarillion.

A very good point. Vader would ask to join Sasuron before attempting to fight him, but if he did challenge Sauron, it would almost ceartainly end with either Vader being incinerated by the Fires of Doom, Split in half by Sauron, crushed by Sauron’s God Mace, or falling slave to the will of Sauron.

And it is true that even a lightsaber could not penetrate Saurons armor, or even his physical manifestation.

he doesn’t need to cut through his damn mace! he could cripple his ass with the force. and he could lob the damn ring into the volcano into the force. he would be a good match against vader because he has the ring but he is no match for the Lord of the Sith. The Dark Side of the Force would over power some ring bought from a pawn shop for $2.00

I scoff at your lack of knowledge of Sauron. To quote Vader; “I find your lack of faith disturbing..." I don’t care if the lightsaber doesn’t cut through the God Mace, because it won’t. So it doesn’t matter. Althogh if you read the entirety of my post that you tried to quote, I also pointed out that the force would most likely not affect Sauron; and furthermore, Vader could never destroy the ring, as it would more than easily control his dark mind, not only stealing Vader of his will, but making him a servant of Sauron!

So do not “Fuck Sauron”; as I gaurantee you would find it most unpleasurable.

** EDIT ** And I would not reccommend any sort of relationship with either Vader or Sauron; as it would be incredibly homosexual.

A wise decision to change your post. But the ring was not “bought at a pawn shop for 2.00”, it was forged of Malice and Hate, by forces much greater than the sith.

sauron he is a minor god in all refrences he cannot die and if vader has death star and his armies so does suaron and he gets melkor/satan

Sauron can die all that needed is destroy the ring then his spirit will gone forever. Vader can’t die cuz when his mortal body die he’ll became more powerful cuz of joining with the force.

And about “indestructibility” of Sauron’s armor and ring -> in the middle-earth they have nothing else but elves magic and one working voolcano ))) Tempereture of the light blade would be enough to end Sauron’s ring. Bye bye Saueee.

Saron uses power thats gets him no where except on 1 planet Darth Vader uses the most powerful force in the univer that allws him to controle minds ext and he would not need to get his weapon blessed. they do not have to concept of weapons 4 thousand years more advanced that can cut into anything
