compared to nas? i think tupac was up there but not on the same level. tupac’s lyrics were up front...kind of were straight to the point. nas’s lyrics are pretty complex. it takes time to figure out some of the shit he says.

my opinion of Nas, is that he’s a good lyracist n all, but his tone seems the same in almost every song, like Kanye for example. His tone always seems the same, as if he were just talking. Like no feeling

Tupac’s probably the few that wasn’t just talk good rhymes n stuff but he made it a angry tone in his gangsta rap songs, made it sad sometimes, and other stuff.
