This is ridiculous. Both GANGSTERS and METALHEADS must get along. This is not only stupid, but very immature and frustrating for both me, as well as many other gangsters and metalheads on this site. Time to understand each other’s form of music.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DaT9Ligqyvw&feature=related

Both fan groups of both forms of music need to admit that both forms of music take talent to perform. It is getting annoying,

Metal Example: Guitar Riffs

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSv-ncOgCBY&feature=related

Rap Example: Beat Making

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ti4BzrcykLA

Heavy Metal gets the stereotypes of being all screaming, bashing on instruments, and talking about suicide.

Rap/Hip Hop has the stereotypes of just talking to a beat, and talking about bitches and gangsters.

Though stereotypes of both genres are NOT true, people continue to poke fun and either genre. Lets discuss about this particular situation so people of both the metal culture and rap culture can get along for ONCE.

ALso, we must be able to understand what IS REAL METAL/RAP and what is fake.

FAKE METAL

REAL METAL

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfRGF-MWYsE

FAKE RAP

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQuqgidV-0s

REAL RAP

Both: Drums.

Technicality versus Groove, though. The age old arguement.

Either one in different situations plz

I have nothing against rap music personally. I even enjoy listening to it sometimes. I just don’t like the message, attitude, and lifestyle that some of the individuals doing the rapping portray.

Yet I bet a lot of people disagree with the perceived metal lifestyle.

Well then don’t complain when everyone starts telling how rap takes no talent and it’s just a bunch of people speaking rhythmically, not playing instruments, using no skill, etc.

I guess that your post proves how much rap is not a true form of music if they dont even write all of it. The purpose of this entire topic was so rappers and metalheads can try to get along, and you are trying to drive us away from it you fucking cockdrip. Now that you have made fun of mine, I have the right to make fun of yours. Go ahead. Say a stereotype about metal. I will slam you down because you know NOTHING about metal, however, I know alot about rap since I used to listen to it. Then I found metal and saw how inferior rap was compared to it.

Usually, the ones you see trying to be assholes to be “hardcore” are posers (The Phenom for example) The ones I know who are not posers only are assholes if you are assholes to them, like us for example.

Rap takes no talent, metal takes no talent.

Rappers are degenerates, metalheads are degenerates.

Metal is nothing but fat dudes screaming into a microphone, rap is nothing but black dudes talking fast.

See where Im going.

Yeah, but you are being a complete asshole about it. You could have just said “I personally do not like metal, but I like rap." But instead you said “Metal sucks ass” Big difference isn’t there?

This topic was made for the understanding of the two cultures and genres, but you need to come in and ruin it. That is something that I disrespect. You did not see us shitting on rap like how you shat on metal. I said I did not like rap, but respect it. (note that the hate post I commented was because you were being an ass) So please, if you really were trying to just express your opinion, please try and keep it in a non-offensive and educated way.

Honestly, as much as I love Technical Death Metal; give me ?uestlove and The Roots any day. I’d far rather listen to someone grooving than overplaying for the sake of it.

It takes practise to achieve technicality. It takes talent and a love of music to groove.
