Pale Horse:Inflicts you with every status effect in the book.We saw Cloud and his friends survive it so beings of much greater power would have no problem.
Heartless Angel:Hey Sora stops him from using it.
Super Nova:The whole video sequence of Super Nova is in question.How is he able to do it multiple times and how do they survive? Basically the sun isn’t actually exploding its more than likely an illusion while Seph is attacking them.

That might be true. But it’s a commonly accepted theory because there’s a lot of grounds to support it. But, regardless.. If you want to go completely factual and base solely on the game, no, it’s not an illusion.
But I generally accept it as one because it gives Sephiroth even more power. He goes from being able to bust planets to being able to manipulate anybody’s mind. Which indeed is a form of mind control.
