So i can take it all away” he was verbally tormenting him the entire fight.

Yes and he was toying around (as stated by creators) mocking him and taunting him for as long as he good, he probably could’ve killed him extremely quickly if he wanted.

A fatal wound differs from person to person, for Cloud, it was NOT a fatal wound, a fatal wound is different for some beings, for example, a hard KICK isn’t a fatal wound, however if i were to give a puppy a hard kick, it could be a fatal wound, in Clouds case, it wasn’t.

Fighting all out for an hour (at least) and eventually beating a tired Cloud suggests that he couldn’t insta pwn.
