lol.. Seriously, you should see my music collection.

It’s full of classic shit.

Nirvana, Metallica, Motorhead, Guns, Zepplelin, Aerosmith..

I used to like hardly nothing but new shit like Linkin Park, Dragonforce, Disturbed, Drowning Pool.. But I played Guitar Hero and got addicted to classic rock.

I agree completely; saying that there’s no decent music out now is ridiculous, and I’ve never understood it. Classic rock is, for the most part, excessively cheesy and lacking talent.

I remember liking SOAD. Then Hypnotize came out and I realized they didn’t have much going for them. Haven’t been listening to them since.

I’m still babying my way into the metal scene (Nu doesn’t count). I dunno, I’m tending to like metalcore, but I’d like to broaden a bit. Any recommendations would be nice in any genre of metal, aside from what’s already been mentioned.

I still don’t think I’ll like death metal, though. Not really into the sound of the lyrics.

Heh, I can like just about any music though, as long as its intense, somewhat upbeat, melodic, and/or technical.

They’ve got one of the best drummers (or did), and for sure the best vocalist out there in the metal scene as far as I’m concerned. They’re hugely creative and never boring. The guitars are more interesting than plain shredding too.

Wonderful, wonderful band.

I like 'em because I’m not hearing death growls. I don’t mind harsh-sounding vocals, but death growls push it.

Well, they only released one album, Focus, so I defintely suggest checking it out. Creative as hell, even today.
