I’m still babying my way into the metal scene (Nu doesn’t count). I dunno, I’m tending to like metalcore, but I’d like to broaden a bit. Any recommendations would be nice in any genre of metal, aside from what’s already been mentioned.
I still don’t think I’ll like death metal, though. Not really into the sound of the lyrics.
Heh, I can like just about any music though, as long as its intense, somewhat upbeat, melodic, and/or technical.

Or Slaughter of the Soul by At The Gates.

Even though metal has been more appealing to me than most music since my early teen years, cuz I just thought everything about it was kickass. And, I see A LOT less fakes in the metal community, which is nice cuz you dont have a bunch of little fuckers runnin around goin fanboy over music.
