I know it’s just a game, but as someone who has been hurt and shunned by crap like this in the past, I know that seeing that other people either dislike or think so little of you can hurt.
That’s mostly why few peoples' opinions of me matter. The ones that do are the ones of those who actually know me well and therefore have better knowledge and ability to form an accurate opinion of me.
