EA makes good games every now and then, but their sports titles are just run of the mill. Same thing every time.

The show SCEA games for the PS3 are much better than those of the 2k series, for their improved graphics from last year and the amazing career mode and lifelike ambience in every game played. Online play is also much better. Go with The Show 08'!

I totally disagree with many of you.. NHL 08 is far better in graphics and gameplay than nhl 2k8, madden is the most popular football game for a reason, and the show has been better in the past.. this just goes to show that 2k games are inferior... the other issue with your arguements is The Show is not produced by EA sports, it is produced by Sony... EA sports used to have the MVP baseball line but that no longer exists. All in all you will be much better off with The Show. 2k games are usually slow, have glitches, and have iffy graphics
