MvC's Vampiric Sovereign Rep: 48 Joined: 27 Jun 2007 Posts: 14,761 ONLINE | what... not right now... im working on a Skull Kid one for me... then ill start on one for you... this one is taking forever... i spent today getting rid of MOST of the white border around the skull kid... i think i already got it off the other image... now i just need a background, and thats what im doing tomorrow, so i should be able to get to yours next tuesday...

But practice makes perfect. I’ve been messing around with photoshop for about 2 years.

I make my backgrounds. An easy way to make a background is to merely to use transformation to make your render huge, find a point on it that seems cool, and just put it somewhere and repeat to fill up the background. Erase anything with a soft eraser to get it to blend. Also, play with the blending options, they give you some cool effects.
And probably the best helpers are the fill and adjustment layers. The ones I primarily use are the gradient maps and photo filters.
