Yes I know its not Dante but take into account Dante beat him and has pretty much surpassed his brother in power.Now this was in DMC 3 which chronologically takes place first.I don’t really know about the DMC 3 manga.In DMC 1 he is much stronger and more powerful plus he has new weapons and defeated Mundus the prince of hell.In the DMC anime he defeats Sid powered by Abigail a demon who once fought Mundus.DMC 2 is chronologically the last and he defeats many powerful opponents.Then theres DMC4 which takes place in between the anime and DMC 2.
Well that’s all very pretty, but I still don’t think it even compares to Sephiroth.
As I fan of Sephiroth I just must ask what is it that makes fans think he is so good?I’ve finished FF7 and watched Advent Children.The only thing I haven’t done is watched Last Order or played Crisis Core.I know Sephiroth is strong but honestly not that strong.

Here’s some of Seph’s abilities
Superhuman, strength, speed (surpasses bullet time by some margin), reflexes, durability, agility etc
Intangibility
Caster of illusion, yes your mind makes Supa Nova real even if it actually isn’t, Cloud and co don’t die simply because of Game mechanics, why? Because you can use omnislash on Safer Sephiroth many times and it wont insta pwn him, but in AC and the last battle in VII omnislash kills Seph, if Seph in AC used Supa Nova Cloud would be blacker than Barret.
Weilder of the negative lifestream which in escence he has his own gaia, ultimately manipulating life e.g. Shadow creapers are made from the negative lifestream.
Materia is made from condensed lifestream, so Seph has his own lifestream, meaning he does not need to actually equip materia for it’s use.
He can also use the negative lifestream as a sort of miasma as seen in AC.
I’m sure it can be used as a weapon too, as seen with the normal lifestream at the end of VII.
He nearly did bust the planet on two separate equqtions xD
I think that’s why people think he’s pretty damn badass. But don’t under estimate the power of omnislash though xD.

Then why is it that people underestimate Dante?He many guns,powerful swords,gauntlets,power ups,and even Pandoras Box in the new game.
OMG Dante ftw Chaos may MAY (and it’s a really big fucking May) be able to beat him but that is all because o how insanely powerful he is Dante’s Devil Trigger allow’s him higher level’s of speed strenth regen flight and so forth includeing energy wave’s.
Dante has fought God’s and beaten God’s he himself is Immortal and half Devil (devil’s dark Angel’s) Demi God enough for me Sephiroth is joined with an Alein being witch was beaten by anchant human’s...

Okay I can’t think of any proper strength feats from Dante other than he’s supposed to be able to lift over 10 tons.As for speed Dante and Vergil were fighting so fast they made rain move in slow motion,Dante also through his sword down the building it became meteor like and he easily caught it.As for reflexes Dante reacted to Vergils teleportation which is instantaneous.Vergil and Dante are both above bullet timer speed.Durability-Dante was stabbed through 3 times and got up all three times.
Well those are very good feats. It’s hard to say about how durable Sephiroth is because he only gets hit by one move most of the time xD But that move in itself exceeds bullet time by some margin, the original omnislash all 15 slashes were quicker than a blink of an eye. Meaning the move lasted fractions of a second xD It goes faster in AC by quite some margin too.
I have never seen this ability though I hear he has it all the time.
As Cid said, in the cargo ship he manipulates Jenova into himself and phases through the cargo ship. AC Sephiroth is full composed of Jenova cells know.

Well I did say maybe xD Only SE know about that one. But the fact remains that you pretty much live due to game mechanics. Well Sephiroth’s illusions are pretty powerful, much so because of his powerful will. He willed his body back into existance.

Being immortal doesn’t make you win, you can still lose a fight lol.
Sephiroth is not joined with an Alien being, he IS the alien being.
He gets beaten by omnislash, again you under estimate that move....

Imma go with Seph on this one, because it’s pointless to argue the factor that Seph was only defeated from Omnislash, meaning Omnislash is the only legitimate way to win without people bitching that is ISN’T an omnislash...
