UBER 1337 Poster Rep: 14  Joined: 29 May 2006 Posts: 4,164 OFFLINE | That is right for such a highly acclaimed game it has one of the downright worst matchmaking systems ever!
I have not gone 1 single game yet and I am put against people at lvl 55! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD I AM ONLY BEGINNING THIS GAME!
Way to go infinity ward, you guys managed to fuck up a very important part of online games, ONLY PUT PEOPLE AGAINST EACH OTHER ON THE SAME SKILL LEVEL!
I only began and I have access to hardly any weapons and I am already up against people who have nearly every weapon, what the hell? I have seen better matchmaking in Battalion Wars 2!
This whole system makes it so that beginners will have to just keep getting slain over and over getting what little EXP they can and finally use it to reach levels that could take weeks! What the hell was infinity ward thinking?

Not in CoD4.
Spray and pray baby.
Play Quake online and say CoD4 takes skill.
Halo 3, though, I can say takes some. I’m not so adjusted to a joystick, so I don’t do as well. But basic training was SOOOOOOOOOOOO easy.

Addict (beyond 1337) Rep: 37 Joined: 14 Feb 2007 Posts: 19,788 OFFLINE | dont worry most lvl 55’s are n00bs anyway. Hell i’m only lvl 19 and i won the MvC Clan Match...and many of the ppl on our team and on the other team in the clan match were like lvl 40’s and over.
Most ppl who have expert ranks suck
