Respect science? what are you people talking about? Science has never demanded respect, people have, when someone says the world is flat, we demand that person to explain why all the evidence says other wise etc etc etc.

Theory does not mean an unsubstantiated guess or hunch, as it can in everyday speech. A theory is a logically self-consistent model or framework for describing the behavior of a related set of natural or social phenomena.

You have a problem with me respecting science? And what do you mean “what are you people talking about?"? I don’t care if science demanded anything, I am saying I respect it because I also believe it. You think I don’t believe in science or something? Judging by your post you seem very ignorant to me dude.

eh, your post “But I’m kinda in the middle, I’m a believer, but I also respect science” makes it sound like science has an opinion you disagree with, but respect it for believing such.

I’m not even going to pretend I know you, but I’ll agree that your wording could easily be taken in the direction that you believe science holds less weight than your religion.

Well I’m sorry for the midunderstanding, but there wasn’t really the need for him to kinda lash out. I mean even if that’s what I meant, big deal.

It was probably just easier for me to say I believe both lol.

Evolution states no such thing, again you are confusing abiogenesis with evolution.

That’s right, proven science that you can see with your own 2 eyes is just an observation of the world/universe by humanity, it is a collection of facts that we have proven true. If it conflicts with Religion then the religion is the issue.

Ignorant!?!?! You are the way holding facts = blind faith wtf!!!

I have no way of proving what I believe, so that makes it wrong to believe in it? I accept that there is a possibility that I am wrong in what I believe, but there is also the possibility that I’m right.

Yeah you are ignorant because you assumed that I was some “religious nut”
Respect science? what are you people talking about

What was that supoosed to mean? you completely misunderstood my post.

I wonder why I think you think that blind faith is around equal to facts.... I wonder what could have made me think that.

Bah

Humbug.

I wonder why I think you think that blind faith is around equal to facts.... I wonder what could have made me think that.

You can think whatever you want. Your passive assumption fails, I full well know that there is the possibility of what I believe in is not true, but that goes both ways. Almost nothing is absolute, surely you know this.

Do you have a problem with people having “blind faith” are they hurting your or something? You seem to have a hard time accepting that people will not always believe in whatever you believe in, just because you think their reasoning is bizzare, well guess what? Big deal.
