Because some people don’t want to lose the debate like 5-year old kids.
At least it raises the lulz factor in a thread.

Buster Sword Guest | Actually Sephiroth can win this.
Broly throws a Galaxy buster, Sephiroth phases through it and takes his energy with the negative lifestream. Sephiroth can survive in a vacuum, so that’s ok, there you go guys, a way in which Sephiroth can win. His spiritual powers make him more of a deadly opponent than his physical, and believe me, he has LOADS of them. I know I said this was rape to Broly at first, but I thought about it more.

Yeah, but Broly can block attacks with his barrier, and not to mention that he can destroy an entire galaxy, though he didn’t completely destroy the South Galaxy. He could do some heavy damage to Sephiroth in this battle.

Buster Sword Guest | Well the negative lifestream is just spirit energy, I dunno if it’s blockable. But if it does hit Broly, he’s losing spirit energy, Sephiroth can use Debarrier to disable his barrier, as Sephiroth pretty much has every spell because he can manipualte the negative lifestream, materia is condensed crystalised lifestrea, Sephiroth has the kowledge and wisdom of the Anceints, so it’s a damn fair assumption he can manipualte his own lifestream in the same way it crystalises to form materia. Sephiroth can regenerate too, he made a body for himself in 5 seconds, which is pretty damn quick, SE say this makes him nigh immortal, but I see your point that Broly can also win this, Sephiroth can tank planet busters but not galaxy busters. Broly’s power output owns Sephiroth, but Seph’s spiritual abilities own Broly’s.
Sephiroth can also mind read, teleport, has telekenesis.
Cid always said we can’t prove that Supa Nova is an illusion because SE never state it was, if it isn’t that’s insta pwn, but like I said whether if it was an illusion or not is debatable. xD

And you do have a point. His spiritual abilities own Broly’s. This could end in a draw, but I want it to continue.

No problem dude, well there is also illusions and stuff, but yeah. Yeah it could be a draw but let it continue. In terms of physical strength I don’t think there is much between them, because although Broly can bust a galaxy, he doesn’t pull supermans with strength, I dare say Sephiroth may be stronger as he’s a planet movers, not so much pulling one with his fists, but with his insnane will.

Yeah he’s no dummy, the Cloud factor doesn’t equate in here as Cloud is the only one that seems to make Sephiroth freak out.

mansher Guest | Broly! Sephiroth can only destroy one planet with Meteor. But Broly. He can create another BIG BANG literally. So can every DBZ character. I think Sephiroth can be taken down even by a normal SSJ.

The Crystal Guest | Gaia go BOOM!!
The only chance Sephiroth have of SURVIVING(not winning), is if Broly give him time to turn intangible.
Either it’s a tie, because Broly can’t harm intangible Sephiroth, or is a victory for Broly.

Or Sephiroth gives him geostigma or whatever Jenova virus. Give him time to go intangible? Are you insane? He does it instantly pretty much. There is also the negitive lifestream which would dissolve Broly...But if Broly can get his galaxy buster out and Seph doesn’t go intangible...Then he loses.

You do know that the lifestream can go through solid objects? As proven in VII, Sephiroth has his own Negative lifestream which he can use to pwn Broly, with or without his barrier.

Buster Sword Guest | In the end of FFVII, the lifestream came from under the ground. A small portion of it desrtoyed a planetiod.
In Advent Children, Sephiroth has his own version.
