books are a good part of learning stuff. and im with Skull_kid with the whole story thing, since thats all we want, is to hear stories of made up or real people, who have extra ordinary lifes or great adventures, simply to escape our own. its part of being human.
books are amazing. my current obsession is stephen king. he’s a great author for most of you newbs to get into cuz most of his books were made into movies. he’s just that good. i’ve read firestarter, the running man, the dead zone, the mist, and the shawshank redemption by him. all of them were made into movies, and the dead zone is also a TV show now. all of that stuff is manageable, most are just a few hundred pages. the books of his that i really want to read (“it”, which is supposed to be amazingly scary, and the stand, which is supposed to be just epic) are longer though. like, well over 1,000 pages.

I don’t read too often however I like fantasy books like Eragon and Eldest. The Series of Unfortunate Events books are good too.
The Series of Unfortunate Events really wasnt good now that i look back on it and compare it to Stormbreaker or Maximum Ride.
