See bugs? That TV is shit...talk to ppl at Best Buy and Circuit City first
ok i understand it sucks. I’m looking around at sony’s store onine to see what might be your tv or a better one.
I just want a really awesome HDTV. any ideas?
My advice:
Go for a good contrast ratio, good reaction time, and don’t focus on 1080p.
For gaming 720 is the sweet spot, most games don’t support 1080p and just upscale which is just a barley noticeable upgrade.
So my advice simplified:
Go for good Contrast ratio, Reaction speed, 28-36 inches, and 720p. ---

I hate to be ruin your excitement, but I don’t want you to make a horrible mistake. For $1400 you’re not even looking at decent quality on a 26”, let alone 40”+. For a decent one you need to double that, and for a good one youre looking around the $5000 to $7000 mark. If you have to get a mass-market brand, go with Samsung, they know what they’re doing and they’re market leaders for a reason. If you want the bet picture quality then look up a company called Loewe. They’re all hand built in germany, and we all know how rock solid german engineering is.

Pauloselhombre Guest | Distrubed is right there, contrast ratio is just a number to stick on paper for reviews and marketing.
