I’d rather do real excersises then spend money to do excersies. But Wii Fit does look entertaining...but still i could save money just by doing the excersises myslef :\ (something i’ve stated several times b4).

Dude, why stand in the same spot for exercise when you can go outside?

The video made many correct points. firstly, it’s not even a game. Secondly, t will not give any comparable exercise results, especially when you can get more exercise by running the the same place. And thirdly, no one will use it more then a few hours at most.

Well:

1. It is a game. It’s a game just like any other mini game compilation out there. Basically under the party genre, first created by Mario Party. So it is a game. I don’t know why people wouldn’t call it a game cause technically it is. And stereotyping what a game should be limits devs abilities and thus we go back to the crash of 1983. I’m sure you’d love that. Notice the sarcasm. Sarcastic gamer isn’t the onle one who could do it.

2. Yes it is proven that this game can help you lose weight and become more flexible. Wii Sports could do the same. Does it replace outside exercise? Of course not. Is there any advertising for it that it replaces normal workouts? Of course not. It’s just saying hey why the hell not. It’s a game that’s not only fun but can help you lose weight and gain some flexibility. I suggest that you actually look at the marketing of teh game instead of believe a guy who creates a shitty video.

3. It’s not supposed to be used for numerous hours. Actually Nintenod has stated that the workouts are for about 10-30 minutes per session then you take breaks. Once a day kinda thing. It was never intended to be a treadmill.

Overally Wii Fit is just a game that is focusing on the marketing of losing weight. Is it a scam? No its a game that does help you lose weight, but ultimatley Nintendo is being smart. Enter the multi billion market of weight loss with a game, and there ya go. If the creators of Dance Dance Revolution had called it Fitness Dancing and marketed it as such, they would have made a lot more money. Same scenario here except Nintendo took the smart route.

I don’t see what people have against this. I mean if you don’t buy it I don’t see how it could hurt you. And yes its not meant to replace outside exercise. What you should be saying if this gives any of those fat Americans a reason to do any exercise it should be praised rather than disgraced.

Hating on this game is silly. And lying about its marketing shows desperation. About time you read the facts and read what its really here for. And its a game being marketed as a product to help you lose weight and used for short periods a day. It is not meant to replace normal exercise or outside play. If ya really want to get fit or strong go do some real exercising, which include you Nerevar and the creator of this video.

But if you are short on time or just looking to drop a few pounds in your older age, and ya have a Wii well why the hell not.

Not to mention it could still be a fun game if you see it as such.

Of course it is Zucas, of course it is. straight

I usually don’t act like this, but it’s poo. How can you even consider it as fun? HOW? “Hey guys! Look, I’m moving my leg! FUN!"

It’s for exercising and yet it phails utterly. You can just jog in place or stretch your arms/legs without it anyways.

"could still be fun”

I never said it was fun. Said it could be, just like I say about any game before I play it.

And remember its not advertising to people who do workout but the majority of the fat Americans that don’t.
