I’m really trying to dig into these styles of music, and I don’t really know where to start.

Anyone have any suggestions of good songs? Cryptopsy has gone through alot of vocalists, so i’m not sure which songs from which albums are any good.

As far as Cryptopsy goes, None So Vile is the album you want. It’s still the album by which all technical death metal is measured. Whisper Supremacy is a personal favourite of mine also. Check out Phobophile, Cold Hate, Warm Blood, Slit Your Guts, Benedicine Convulisions and Depths You’ve Fallen.

Behemoth wise, I recommend Demigod, which is a fantastic album. Most of it rocks, but my personal favourite song is The Nephilm Rising.

Meshuggah wise... I’ll PM you.

obZen is great, Catch 33 is intense, Chaosphere is epic. It’s all good. As a general rule with Meshuggah; the further back in time you go, the more thrashy and less technical they get. So you can find a sound you like.

My favorite Cryptopsy songs are Open Face Surgery, The Pestilence That Walketh in Darkness, Dead and Dripping, and White Worms

My favorite Behemoth songs are Conquer All, Pure Evil and Hate, and Dragon’s Lair

For Meshuggah, I have only listened to obZen so far, but it is amazing. Check it out.

Meshuggah’s EP “I” is brilliant. Destroy Erase Improve was one of their most godly albums. And “Nothing” was one of my favs.

Future Breed Machine
New Millennium Cyanide Christ
Rational Gaze
Organic Shadows
I
Bleed
Lethargica

some of my fav songs of Meshuggah.
