If Spore is coming to consoles (not sure if it is) then those two will be my most anticipated games.

yes. Sims on consoles sucked compared to the PC version. Same will prbly happen with Spore.
Spore requires a mouse to be very good. If u saw the creature editing vids then u’d know this. You can’t make small lil touches with a controller .
here’s an older video...
Do u see now? It’d be very hard to get that same level of design. Creating something as precise as that with a controller would be very tough to do which is why the console versions would suck. The only console version that would be good is the Wii version and that would only happen if they set up the wii-mote controls so that they worked like a mouse.
But like i said making a creature with a controller would suck compared to making it with a mouse. The controller would make it harder and limit u a bit. I mean if Maxis intigrated it right then it’d rock but i personally would rather use a mouse to make those precise tocuhes. Just gotta hope Maxis devs aren’t lazy when they port it to Wii (and mabye PS3 and 360). Remember how limited Sims and Sims 2 were on consoles compared to their PC version?
Sims on consoles were limited because much work was never put into them, and the systems were not as powerful as PC’s. The games were poorly optimized.
However, and Xbox 360 and PS3 re more then enough to support Spore. And you seem to forget that the 360 and PS3 can support keyboard/mouse.
