yes but Maxis will think about the ppl who dont have a mouse and keyboard. thing is it feels like they’ll just make a crappy port like they did with the Sims...

well Spore is much more complex than an RTS...I mean it’d work..but look at the creature editing vid. it’s be hard as FUCK to get that to work well on a controller.

bwt u can run Spore on ur PC...

making small lil features (like strecthing a piece of body out) will be ahrd as hell with a controller. The editor in spore is extremely unique...

U basically satrt out wit ha blob and u sculpt it like playdough. That would be hard to do without a mouse and if u watched the vid u would see.

The reason it’d be hard with a controller is becuase the creature details (such as eyes, mouth, how wide it is, whci hway it’s tail goes, etc.) can be so precies that it’d be much much more enjpoyable with a mouse. I mean it’d work but...compared to the mouse it’d suck.

well the thing is everything in the creature/building/fuana/vehicle editors is so precise...and using a controller wouldn’t be good 4 it.

But as for Spore going to 360 and PS3....ewll not much has been heard on it. But WW said he wants it to go to “everything” including cell phones so i’d expect a 360 and PS3 version.

I personally am gettin PC version (unless Wii version is as good as it).

I know a mouse/keyboard would be better. But if they do it right, analogs can be just fine.

yeah it’d be ok. But as precise as mouse. I still say u get it on PC. If ur PC can handle Civ4 it should be able to handle Spore...

I doubt my comp could handle the whole planet though. Civ4 runs smooth, but it’s not huge and 3D like in spore.

My comp would handle the early stuff, but when you start getting to the space parts it would lag real badly. sad

Thats why I want it for mah cunsolz.

Exactly.

For me, Wii and Computer versions are not an option, thats why I’m hoping for a 360/PS3 version.

It’s be really awesome if they were open to mods.
