These numbers though are pathetic haha. You should have started at the one that you used for the greatest amount here. It’s almost impossible for Wii to not have more than 32 million by the end of 08. ---

Agent of Chaos Rep: 54Joined: 10 Aug 2005 Posts: 39,968 OFFLINE | Just to give a little insight Nintendo raised their fiscal year predictions of shipments from 17.5 to 18.5 million. That means that from March 07-March 08 they plan on having 18.5 million shipped within that timeframe. Now before that or from November 06 to March 07, they had 5.85 million shipped. So add the 2 together, and by the end of March 08 they’ll have over 24 million shipped. That leaves 9 months to sell another 8 million to top out this chart, which they’ll do easily, especially if they are going to ship 4 million in this current quarter.
I mean there is really only one right answer to this, as these prediction choices are not only conservative, but wrong from the start. I’m not trying to be mean Pete, but possibly a little more study into the sales could have helped you make better choices for answers. ---

I don’t see the downfall begin until mid to late 09, and by than i think it be close to or just over 50 million sold, so you do the math. So Probably somehwere between 35-40 million by the end of 08, 50+ by the near end of 09 and overall around 65 million sold total. ---

hmmm? can i quote you on that? wanna try this whole lil prediction thing again?
yeah, um, i strongly doubt it will be under 40 mil. i’d say 40-45. (and, i’m actually not basing this off of zucas’s numbers. lol. i saw that list, and i thought “why aren’t they even giving an option for the wii selling the same amount this year as last year?" that’s essentially where i got my numbers from.)

Wow definetly a new light you are putting Wii in. With these predictions, which are actually legit to the facts, you are saying Wii will take a 2nd place and PS3 will take a 3rd place, as the 360 doesn’t have a chance in hell of selling 65 million. Not with current rates and predictable future ones. INteresting. I like this one as its very possible that Wii could end up selling abouty 65 million, and PS3 around 80 million, and 360 around 40 million for the generation.
