Your order of events are off. First you need to undersatnd that lightning is not what the name implies. It is a bolt of electrical energy caused by possitively charged clouds when striking a negatively charged earth. The time it takes the lightning to travel from the clouds to the earth varries depending upon the charges present in both the clouds and the earth. Sometimes the charges are so low that the lightning can’t even reach the earth, which is why lightning often appears forked and far above the viewer in the sky.
Also, just because Sasuke doesn’t move at light speed, doesn’t mean anything. It’s all dependant upon both participants eye to body impulse times. There is a certain limit the human body hits where they can no longer see what is going on in front of them. This was discovered when Sonic Jets were used for spying. People flying over Mach 10+ speeds experianced temporary blindness, where things passed so fast that there minds didn’t have the time to comprehend the information from there senses. Moving at light speeds is great, but if you can’t see what your doing, it won’t help you much.
Next I will present the fact that dodging lightning is simple if you aren’t the tallest thing in the area. If you are not highly possitive charged creature, then lightning will search for another more possitively charged person, or will strike whichever metal pole is closest.
Lastly, it’s quite a bit easier to dodge lightning than one might think. Typically people experiance an 'uncomfortable' sensation when lightning is about to strike, which is caused by there body becoming possitively charged. The hair on the person’s head will raise up into the air as the time of the strike grows closer and the person experiancing these odd behavior tends to have 1-2 minutes in order to move themself under a house or near a lightning rod in order to either ground there possitive charge or head into a building for safety. So the human body actually has a defense against lightning that makes the feat of dodging it somewhat pathetic.
I rest my case. You both phail. Derdev win’s this fight.
..yes you’re speaking of lightning originating miles above earth, this is lightning being fired from a couple of feet away, which also travels from point one to point two at light speed...and what you said there had no real sway on the fact that aang can dodge lightning meaning he can react to objects moving at light speed, sasuke can’t move at light speed, which means anng can dodge sasuke

Again, I must throw out there the fact that lightning is far less than the speed of light. In fact it only moves at around Mach 3-4, which is 3-4 times the speed of sound. Pitty. I really was hoping you had a good arguement as I want Sasuke to lose this one.

The speed of sound is about 770 mph. So if what Derdev said was true, that means lightning moves at around 2700 mph.
Just a random fact to throw out. To get into space, a rocket must overcome the pull of Earth’s gravity. To do this it must travel at a speed of at least 7 miles per second or about 25,000 miles per hour. Rockets tend to be visible to the human eye from a distance, and these things are traveling much faster than the supposed speed of lightning.
2700 MPH is still within the range of what a human can see, even if barely. Have you ever looked at lightning though? It’s not always one of those “flicker” effects where one second there’s nothing and the next second there’s something. At times, you can see it spreading if you look hard enough.
The fact is, Sasuke moves quicker than the human eye can perceive, which theoretically means he moves quicker than Azula’s lightning.
Sorry, if lightning dodging is the best Aang’s done, he’s too slow for Sasuke

actually the lead bolt in lightning moves at 60, 000 mps while sound is merely 334, lightning is much faster than mach 3-4, but slower than light, none the less sasuke can’t hope to approach that speed much less react to it while aang has been able too...and your point is still pointless as sasuke is slower than lightning...I’m starting to think you just like being a jerk

thats more of an animation style thats why his opponents are able to fight with him because they can see him, in anime it is just a way to show speed, aang is too fast to be seen when he moves at his top speed but the creators choose to show him running fast and no one else reacting, doesn that mean he’s faster than lightning? no
