First off, what the hell are you talking about? I have said none of those things. You are talking to the wrong person. Aang has not been shown to control lightning yet, but he may be able to later on.
And furthermore, he could just block the Kirin or any fire attack with his air bending skills. Or water bending skills.

Block and catch are two diff things... sasuke can go faster than arrow... arrow it self cant go 200 meter in one second while sasuke can... even though he can block arrow do you think he can block Kusanagi with Chidori inside...??? Remember blocking arrow and blocking Kusanagi is diff... Aang stick nowhere near the level of kusanagi... and oh...
