Yes, but what would be the point of bending the Amaterasu, when he can counter it with his own fire? Or with water bending attacks. Not to mention that he can block with his earthbending abilities to stop any fire attacks of Sasuke from doing any damage to him.
amataerasu can engulf normal fire. and how can you stop a type of fire that can even 'burn' fire with just water? and earth bending? weve seen earth bending being destroyed by explosions before, i dont see why the amaterasu cant.and sasuke is still faster. and he still has those powerful eyes. and sasuke can use clones just like when he fought his brother. so tell me how can aang fight back when his under a genjutsu?
Yes, normal fire. Is the fire bended from the Avatar normal fire? And Sasuke maybe faster, but how is he going to get Aang under the Sharingan when he is under the Avatar State? If Aang can withstand lightning, thing I think he can withstand an attack from the Amaterasu, but that’s just me. Sasuke would have to act quick to even use the Amaterasu, which can only be activated when he’s using the Mangekyo Sharingan. Otherwise, Aang has a chance of winning.
uhhh yes. a fire being controlled doesnt mean its hotter or anything like that. as i recall one sasuke only has to get the avatar or anyone for that matter to look into his eyes so they can be affected by the sharingan. and the avatar isnt blind is he? and yes, like i said before, aang has a good chance to win, but so does sasuke.
Yes, I know what you mean. He’s have to get to a close distance for the Sharingan to even work. It wouldn’t really work from a long distance. I know they both have a chance to win, just proving my point here, as you are as well.

Yes, or in the manga anyway, otherwise, it only works at a close range, as it has been shown.
i dont know about that. its been said in the show manga, everywhere that they only needed eye contact for it to work. close range or otherwise. i mean, sasuke used his sharingan on sai while they were far apart. another thing, its an eye technique, the user relies on his vision. not the distance. it all depends on how clear the vision of the user is. take itachi for example, he was having trouble fighting sasuke because his vision is not as clear as before. take note that sasuke was just a few feet away from him. so, the distance doesnt really matter. eyesight is the important thing.
All right. So range will not be a problem. He just has to have a good view of him with his eyes in order to even use it. Although I’d only see Sasuke using it only if Aang would pose a real thread, in other words, if he goes into the Avatar State.
yeah. you’re right. but there are instances when sasuke used his sharingan right from the start of the fight. but he doent use it that often.
