Ironman also has fast scanning capability. He also managed to absorb and knock out Silver Surfer on his own gut. (We all know that none of Metroid character is in league of Silver Surfer.)
You have gut to say metal Uru is weak. Trust me. I have nothing against Metroid. It is just that it is far beyond whatever Metroid universe has. Can Samus withstand blast from cosmic being? No. But Thorbuster can. I played those games, and it seems she is not even close to Ironman in term of speed and strength. I don’t think Samus can manage to beat Hulk. Hulk would crush Samus easily. And Ironman with Hulkbuster beat Hulk once before.

its a long time think about it, humans have been around soo long that they have dominated the freaking usniverse with the federation. loooooooooong time. soooooooooooooooo iron mans only hope would be that his suit would be so out dated by samus’s that she just couldn’t get into it. but then again her suit is fairly backwards compatable so i doubt it.(it can read undiscovered dead languages)

samus has been able to beat fast enemies easy. the thing is they always have to slow down to attack. as does iron man, and its not like flying enemies is a problem like some one said before she has an almost unlimited supply of missiles.

the thing is see wrong with mr. stark (thats iron man mr loinfranly) is that he needs to build a suit in order to battle a new enemy, i might be wrong but it seems like a pattern. well hes never made a samusbuster so lets just say they both have their normal suits, the classic iron man suit vrs the varia suit. which is better?
Ironman has self repair, repulsor rays, a uni-beam projector, pulse bolts that pick up kinetic energy (thus increasing its damage output with prolonged movement), energy absorption/conversion, stealth (invisibility), an energy shield, missiles (of every array), flares, smart bombs, the ability to create and manipulate magnetic fields, sonic blasts, flame throwers, a holographic generator (for decoys), ultra-freon, grenades, nukes (yes, nukes), an electromagnetic pulse generator, super speed, flight, super strength (90 ton class), and a very high durability. not to mention Tony Stark is a genius and a brilliant tactition toped off with a suit that has it’s own A.I.
Tony also has modified suits like the Hulkbuster, composed of add-ons to his so-called modular armor, designed to enhance its strength and durability. he also has a model which uses a mystical power source, the Thorbuster. made up of armor which is more powerful than adamantium or vibranium and is composed of magic. (for this fight though, Tony needs them not.)

moreover, the suit itself can record ones attacks and movements thus calculating outcomes and hence dictating the proper course of action within nanoseconds.
hell, Tony doesn’t even need to use a single projectile or weapon otherwise. a single amped up punch from Ironman could fracture or shatter Samus' suit. screw it, thunderclaps ftw.
furthermore, Tony got his training from Captain America, so he’s no slouch when it comes to hand to hand combat.
and in response to the mini-blackholes; if Samus creates a mini-blackhole, it’ll be a waste, they’re way to slow to surmount. Ironman isn’t gonna sit still for the attack and again, the attack is not very fast nor is it long lasting. moreover Ironman can manipulate magnetic fields.
about the only thing Tony needs to be most concerned about is the “screw attack." (seeing as how he can anticipate and either avoid or counter projectiles) the “screw attack” might catch him off guard but, Samus needs to be concerned about considerably more.
Tony simply needs to maintain a safe distance, preferably airborne, keep his shield up, and pummel her with a barrage of attacks.
one nuclear strike and Samus is done. even if she uses her ship, Tony can blast it out of the sky/space.
basically the determining factors are that Ironman has the speed advantage, strength advantage, an energy shield, invisibility, greater versatility (i.e. decoys, emp, and magnetic field manipulation), nukes, and a suit with an A.I. that can calculate thousands of scenarios and outcomes in nanoseconds.
and as versatile and tough as Samus is, she can’t hold a candle to Ironman.
