Buddhism is a non-theistic religion. He was a spiritual teacher, but he believed in spirituality within yourself and not any supernatural beings or internal soul. His teachings were more philosophical than spiritual and having to do with the mind.

He never claimed to be a prophet. He was a human being, not a man-god. And like I said, he didn’t believe in god.

Of all “organized” “religions”(for lack of a better word at the moment) I’ve always found I connected best with Buddhism, but truthfully I don’t know too much about it.

Buddha actually never taught reincarnation. He talked about “rebirth”, but he claimed the soul was an illusion. When he talked about rebirth and death, he really meant the rebirth and death of yourself in a mental sense (emotions). He continued to teach that the cycle of “death and rebirth” should be broken if you truly want to be at peace with yourself.
