Bioshock was overrated in about every aspect other than a compelling storyline, which by the way did start to get boring in some parts. It doesn’t deserve anything it is getting, and I’d rather see Halo 3 get GOTY over Bioshock. Same sentiments to Bioshock this year that I had to Gears of War last year. Tired of these critics and people overhyping all this sci fi FPS shit when they aren’t really good at all. Gets on my nerves.
In reality the GOTY has been between SMG, The Orange Box, Uncharted, and Mass Effect. I’m not including the PC games or whatnot so bare with me. And so far SMG has gotten the most GOTY awards. And if we did include Bioshock it did get 2nd most but a distance away from SMG.

At least gears had Multiplayer. I mean, Bioshock runs on the same engine, is a FPS, and has plasmids cool weapons and stuff but no multiplayer!?!?!
I’d be damned if Orange Box and Uncharted got GOTY.
Orange Box it several great games, that simply should not be counted, the games need to be separated. And while Uncharted was good, the shooting got old quick, along with he old Hollywood stunts.
