I’ve seen a bit of frustration regarding these 2 words
Nigg@ - street slang, (more commonly around black ppl)
Nigg3er - Latin derivation for “black”, (u know in Spanish it = negro)
so?
are they both illegal or allowed in certain areas or wat?? I’m confused cuz I’ve used the word nigg@ outside the rap topics and I haven’t gotten in any trouble...
everyone uses the nigga word. some think that it is racist, some don’t. i don’t care. it does not matter to me. i am black. racism is something that i don’t let bother me. we should just say what we want to say and get it over with.

The original consensus is that both words are restricted to rap threads. But that’s bullshit, they shouldn’t receive special treatment just because they rap.
So, I basically only warn for use of “Nigga” if the person being called that complains. “Nigger” however, I warn for immediately.
Other mods probably share a different opinion though.
it is just like when some people refer to themselves or others as a “nigga” or a “cracker” you just don’t do it. just because someone else does it does not mean that you should.
