No, Weiss is still a lackey of Genesis, and he always will be. And where does it say Weiss is faster and durable than Sephiroth? Weiss got owned by Vincent. VINCENT. I don’t care if he was in his Chaos form or whatnot. The fact that Vincent could not handle Bahamut’s awesomeness in AC somewhat proves he is weaker than Cloud.
And the fact Cloud beating Sephiroth is because Sephiroth ALWAYS gets cocky at the end. He feels oh-so-confident, then Cloud makes a comeback and strikes the evil fruit cake when he’s too busy gloating.

Chaos that quaked the planet fire’s death blast’s lift’s Azul’s tank Turret like nothing, break’s through Omega’s Barrior and beat’s Omega-Vice who move’s faster than is possible to see, Chaos that himself move’s that fast and leave’s after image’s...
Sephiroth can’t even handle Omni-Slash speed...isnt near indestructable and has no real impressive strenth feat’s beside’s puling the top side of the Shinra building down mentaly...Cloud still beat him like 3 time’s....
Douse Kuja bother you that much his power is in question not his sence of style...

I’m also pretty sure Cloud can take down an advanced aircraft without much effort.
