Xemnas is Xehanort’s Nobody while 'Ansem' is Xehanort’s Heartless. Xemnas has more power his heartless counterpart as he took on a stronger Sora AND Riku at the same time. He also seemed to know something Sora and Riku didn’t. When he said “Surely we nothings must be the same......Eternal."
Then they say “That doesn’t mean your eternal” Then Xemnas just laughs. But anyways yes. Stronger Sora and Riku he fought, and if it were not for Riku Sora would have died.

I think Kuja will win. I mean, NOONE has ever beaten him in trance. I guess Zidane and co kinda beat him, but he still had enough energy left to kill them obviously. Not to mention had enough energy to revive them. I don’t think any of these characters have ever done what Kuja has. I mean, Kuja took in the souls of the invincible and became Trance mode....And then proceeded to wipe out Terra, which caused a big problem on Gaia. Sephiroth is the only one we know of that comes close. Even with Supernova, Sephiroth has never killed the entire party before in one desperate blast of death.

We don’t know if that is Xehanort or not. I don’t remember any info given for that. Just because he has a similar suit doesn’t mean anything

How can it be his reincarnate if the game takes place before the first KH? None of them even look like Sora, though Ven looks startlingly like Roxas.

Sora is much stronger in KH2 than he is in KH.
Sora couldn’t scratch Xemnas in his regular form in KH1. Notice how Xemnas shrugs off the 'damage' Sora did to him without much effort.

Also Ven and Roxas are explained to have the same relationship as Riku and Sora...Whatever that means. Brothers maybe?

It’s a very debateable issue. People usually don’t give Kuja enough credit, but he is actually a good match against him in an all out fight. I mean, Kuja could withstand some pretty strong stuff in his normal form. In Trance Form he is nearly unbeatable. I’m actually making a fan fic about this.

Sephiroth
Kuja
Xemnas
Riku is clearly weaker than Xemnas as standalone character. Notice how he and Sora barely beat Xemnas as a team.
FFXIII Characters do not count toward the poll.
