NOBODY but Bungie can do it right.

Bungie created Halo, Microsoft just owns it because they used to own Bungie before Bungie went independent not too long ago.

Last I heard, Bungie was thinking about a new Marathon game.

I say give it a shot. Hell, they may even make a next gen game. Bungie only managed to make a Halo 2.5 IMO.
