Well, like I said.. That one right there is too large.

It’s 200+ Kilobytes. But the real problem is that this avatar wouldn’t load either.

And it’s well within the size limits. Not to mention it was used before.

I can’t seem to re upload my old avy either.

Uploading it through some sites will dramatically decrease the size. there are some programs that will do it too.

Although, you’d have to cut it by what, 90% down? The quality would be so bad you wouldn’t even know what was happening.

I’m having trouble too actually...

says “Could not save file to sever”

how do I fix that?

I tried a couple different pictures, they’re the right size and everything.

I get the feeling that Bjarne messed up the site some.

Earlier today, MovieCodec was down for about an hour, and then an hour after that nobody could post.

He was doing some internal changes apparently, and the avatar thingy was messed up during that. It’s probably a minor problem with the coding or something. *shrugs*

But for now, if anybody tries to upload an avy they’ll be avatarless.

i emailed bjarne to see if he knew what the problem was in the last hour. he should email me sooner or later
