Lol...it’s obvious DBZ kills the shit out of DMC, because not everyone and their Grandma in DMC can go SS4 and beat the shit out of Kid Buu any day of the week...but let me clarify this super quick, theory that Dante can use to defeat Kid Buu (and yes, you can call it a lame-ass excuse).

Dante (with Beowulf) can charge Demonic Energy into an arm, and shoot it alot like an energy beam. In the anime, Goku defeats Kid Buu with a fully-powered Spirit Bomb...if Dante can power up as much energy as Goku can, and thrust all that power against Kid Buu, then Dante can be the victor.

THIS IS JUST A THEORY, This may not be truthfully correct. Alright, send me your “HE’S NOT GOKU, HE SUCKS ASS” comments.

Oh, you also forget Quicksilver allows Dante to slow/stop time, in which allows him time to gather up each and every ounce of his full power for his special power burst, AND Doppelganger, which allows him to make shadow copies of himself, making him able to multiply his energy beams...UNLESS Kid Buu is immune to any and all attacks thrown at him, then Dante cannot kill Kid Buu...and alot Vice Versa with Kid Buu unable to kill Dante. Here are a couple reasons why...

Kid Buu can use small beams and punches all he likes, but Dante can recover from those kinds of things...Alot with Sephiroth’s power to destroy the planet, Kid Buu can do the same thing, but since Dante can regenerate any wound almost as soon as it is made, then Dante can actually have a chance to survive that attack...however, this also means Dante can die from this as he hasn’t had experience with Planet-Destroying attacks.

If Kid Buu tries to absorb him for his powers, then play the full mission of DMC3 Mission 8 and watch the first cutscene on mission 9 and you figure out how pointless that would be.

If Kid Buu tries to turn Dante into candy, he won’t have much success if Dante uses Quick Silver, as he will be slowed greatly/stopped that he cannot move...

So Dante might have a small chance at winning this.
