They did whatever it took to fit in. If there was some kind of celebration going on, they might have ran around and yelled.
Yeah but, they didn’t battle like they do in Naruto and no I don’t mean the superpowers. I mean on missions they went by the element of surprise rather than jumping out and taking guys on head on. At least to my knowledge.

A lot of times, a Ninja wouldn’t be involved in a battle at all. And if they were, they’d use cheap tactics.
For example, it’s forbidden for a Samurai to attack somebody from behind, so a Ninja would approach a Samurai with their backs turned so that they could get in close and kill 'em.
So yeah.. They could go headlong into battle. But it was rare.

Which this is pretty much my point. Yes, there were instances where ninja did that but not many. I guess they are more ninja like than I originaly thought though.

Also...they’re supposed to be ninjas in Naruto, right?
Where’s the ninjas. Not a single character in that show in a ninja.
exactly. They all just seem like metahumans to me
It’s not even the chakra shit I’m talking about.
I’m talking about 12 year olds running around in brightly colored clothing yelling at the top of their lungs like fucking idiots. Ninjas don’t to that.
A real Ninja did anything to blend in with the crowd.
That is not a ninja. That is a popular stereotype.
That guy, he could be a ninja for all you know.
So honestly, Naruto’s concept is more accurate to what a Ninja was than you might think.
Problem. They all wear headbands ALL of the time. Hard to hide your status as a ninja when it’s on your fucking forehead. So your argument fails.
And for the record, I was talking about when the intention was for their very presence be unnoticed.
That guy would actually make a better ninja that most of the guys in naruto haha.
