And Wii version was confirmed by Will Wright in an interview proceeding the press release, meaning that the Wii version will release at a later date after the PC, Mobile, and DS versions. Probably in early 09 if I took a guess.

I hope it does... or for PS3. I see no reason why it wouldn’t.
It would need some type of more PC-esque input peripheral for the 360 or PS3 versions... e.g. wiimote = mouse-like input, DS stylus = mouse- like input. These types of inputs will be very necessary with this game. It would be very hard with just analog sticks.
Dont worry moo the all knowing Spore god has arrived
WW said about a eyar ago he wants it to go on everything PS3, Wii, 360, PC, Cell Phones, DS, PSP. Everything . But he recently hasn’t talked much about it :\

Yeah, maybe if your a sucky developer.
And the 360 and PS3 both support KB/M, along with he PS3’s sixaxis to add a bit extra depth to what you can do.
Actually it would be hard...well mabye not hard but not as good as the PC version. And yes 360 and PS3 do support M/KB support but not every 360/PS3 owner has a USB Mouse or Keyboard.
It’d be possible to get Analog to work but it would suck compared to the PC version. Things wouldn’t be as precise as u might want them to be.
We’ve gone over this. Yes, it won’t be as good as KB/M, but you’ll still be able to make amazing creatures and do things like you can on the PC version.

yes but just not as amazing . But i’m just worried taht they may cut stuff out of the console versions lik they did wit hSims on consoles. Ultimatly if ur PC can handle this game i’d suggest getting it over the console versions.
Either way we’ll hear more at GDC about Spore from Will Wright.
“Spore on the DS will be a unique experience that captures the essence of what the PC game is all about: creativity, exploration, sharing, and collecting. Developer Maxis has taken advantage of the unique features of Nintendo’s handheld like the stylus and local/wi-fi connectivity. The portable game will be focusing on the creature phase of Spore, and will include its own creator called Spore Creatures. Players make a beast, then evolve it by making friends and enemies, exploring the galaxy, and eventually saving their home world. The Spore Species Guide will keep track of all the animals you encounter along the way. Creators can trade their spawn with other users. Once traded, they will continue to move to other users as more barters are made.
To distinguish Spore DS from other versions, Maxis has given it its own visual style inspired by Japanese flat rod puppets and shadow box art. A “simpler” version of Spore, players will be able to focus on their unique creations.“
add this too bugs
Well it basically sounds like a simpler version of Spore. Also sounds like they’re using the lil stick thingy (sry i dont know what it’s called) as a mouse kinda. Meaning Spore for Wii may be exactly like the PC version only using Wii-mote as a mouse. It also means that when/if the 360 and PS3 versions come around then they will most likely be the exact as PC only w/o M/KB support.
this article prtty much means that Spore on Consoles may possibly be as good as PC version
