It’s to make the game scarier and more hardcore. To add more realism. Now, you can’t go take a leak in the middle of a fight.

Not pausing in fighting sounds good, but maybe at least when there are no enemies around?

The reason it will add to the scare factor is simple, instead of hitting pause, like in RE:4, and healing yourself or chaning out your weapons, you do it in-game while in a fight.

I’m guessing we’ll just have to wait and see on this one.
Hopefully they will rethink this eroneous strategy and give some sort of pause function.
