I notice that the account page is going under some updates and stuff.

But I also have a few suggestions to help clean it up and such.

Ever think about setting each setting into a tab style navigation in the page?

Like have the

quick info and userpage in one setting named Profile Editing

The options, password and theme selector in a tab named Options

Avatar, signature, and custom rank in a tab named Public Editting

Also why not make the Something is edited page actually redirect to the Account management page instead of just keeping you in one place.

If you need an example I can make you one.

How do you edit the tagline below your name? Do you need to be a moderator?

well the fact taht it would take a while to instal and idk, it would be fine if mods had the power to change names, but some migt abuse that power... or as you said maybe 1 or 2 times only but that would be weird.. and some users may change theirs constantly, and that would just take away a ton of username possibilities for those new users...

i think you should be able to edit the tagline under your name even if you have under 5000 posts

good idea. and i think that you should only be able to change your name once and you will only be able to change it again if you feel the need to during a certain period of time. like maybe a few months or maybe a year.

it seems that way, but what he is talking about is the status name that we get under our user name when we pass the 5000 mark, which i am on my way of passing

double post. i know but skull is right on one thing. it does give us something to look forward to. kind of like a prize or reward that you earn after a long and hard journey. but other than that i see where you are coming from.

It should be regarded as a prize. That was my intention when I mentioned it to Bjarne. It shouldn’t be given away (and 3000 is a number many members reach).

5000 is perfect in my opinion.

Agreed. I am on my way to 5,000. Won’t be long now.

For how fast most people take to get to 5,000 on here, I should have been there a year and a half ago.
