well, this brings me to one of my two greatest fears.
if there is no religion, if it is all wrong, then when we die, we just cease to exist. its not like we can appreciate life after its gone, its not like we can be happy knowing we were good people or lived happy or whatever. its all over. your conciousness is gone. its as if you never exited. you have no memory, you have no love, you have no existance. everything you have ever done in your life is meaningless because you can’t even aknowledge its existance, and moreover, your not there TO aknowledge its existance. 80 years, and you will never come back. no do-overs, no sense of satisfaction, nothing. all gone. all useless.
that is why i fear a death in which i would go no where.
