Opeth show very, very few traits of Doom Metal, if at all.
They’re Progressive Death, with influences in Jazz, Blues, Death Metal, Progressive Metal, Progressive Rock and Folk.
No Doom. ---

So do we. We now Opeth is Progressive Death Metal. Pure and simple. Doom Metal is like Candlemass, My Dying Bride, Solitude, and Grief. Trust us. It is like 5 to 1.
