If I recall the movie had the same sort of theme going in that all the females were barren bar a few which were hunted by the government for re-population...that sound about right.
I ask because you are probably more familiar with the movie than I.
I know that the chemicals and carcinogens are doing a mighty fine job, not to mention the jolly good cigarettes and alcohol addictions that plague our species but to me, were just not dying quick enough. For every illness or death, millions upon millions of dollars is being spent on making us live longer and cheat death.
Thats on top of the millions of dollars being spent on creating new ways for us to kill each other, yet very little is spent on actually prolonging this planets life and reversing the damage we have done.
Its greed and selfishness that we speak, eat, drink, brethe and defecate.
I hold our species in contempt.
