the disk space issues for ME 2

I mean, the game was short, it lacked many more fully colonized planets, u dun even get to land on Earth, and all due to disk space issues...

Actually, it was because it takes so long to develop a game.

The second will use the already created program for the convo system on the second. It will be updated of course, but it saves the devs some time. And they can work more on the planets and such.

Well MS gets newer better compression software very often, plus we could always have half the galaxy on one disc and half the galaxy on the other.

You could also lower the resolution to save space, like in Halo 3, and use the 360’s upscaler chip to upscale it. it looks about the same anyways.

wat about making two versions?

if MS is making a blu-ray add on
then make a blu-ray mass effect and a two disk mass effect like nervin says half teh galaxy in one disk and teh other half in the other disk

It won’t work, the blu ray add on will hook VIA USB, USB isn’t fast enough for something as complex as running a game.
