If we have a beginning, how was it made then? There had to be time or something before it.
I do not know the answer to that question.
Why does there have to be time?
Because nothing can be created or can develop without time. That is a fact of life.
I disagree.
Well how can something develop without time existing?
1. They popped into existence simultaneously (which is ridiculous)
2. That “something” is unaffected by, or has control of, time.
(No offense) but both of those possibilites are both highly unlikely. I would be suprised if any of those were what really happened.
Don’t you believe in evolution? Or are you a nihilist?
If you do believe in evolution, don’t you think it unlikely that evo. would happen?
I am a nihilist. I believe in evolution. Evolution happened over time. I am unsure what you are asking me.
You don’t think its a massive coincidence that we are here?
Through evolution, yes it is. I believe in evolution. It is a coincidence.

No, I am saying it is all coincidence.

Unlikely but it could still happen. Now allow me to give you an anology for this.
If I roll 8 six sided die and I roll one at a time until I’m out of die, do you know the probability of me getting the numbers I rolled?
1/ 1,600,000
A little higher than that but I guestimated. What are the chances? Now pick any 8 numbers and try to roll them, you’ll see after thousands of trys you won’t get it. You could, but it is very unlikely. You could even make it more unlikely. Make it TEN 100 sided die. Now do you know what the probability of getting the 10 numbers you rolled is? A huge probability let me tell you.
This can be applied to that “It is unlikly” thing.

You record the cards they got, then shuffle the cards and hand them back out to everyone in the same order. The chances of everyone getting their card again ever is slim to none, but it still happened once. Same goes with the the theory of the origin of life. It may be very unlikely, but it still may have happened, and it may have happened elsewhere as well.
