Earthquake hits Britain (first one for 25 years)

At 1am GMT Britain was rocked out of it’s beds by an Earthquake the first one in 25 years,according to scientists it measured 5.2 on the richter scale but American scientists say it was 4.7 it doesnt matter though Britain was shocked this happened to us.

My question is?

1)Was it really an Earthquake?

2)Is this our future to have Earthquakes in Britain?

Fuck I am so glad you posted this. I got up this morning very confused cos I was rocking and still half a sleep stood at my window thinking I was losing the plot. I thought it had something to do with the neighbors but could not see how they would make the hole house move like that. man I thought I was going crazy.

That is bad bad bad with a capital B fuck man. seriously I thought I was loosing it are it was a very real dream are something.

Fuck, am like 150 miles away from London so what it must have been like for them I have no idea.

I thought that they could of been an exploded are something as well but could not hear anything. Just moving from side to side then got back in bed and this morning thinking was that real are not. It did actually make me a bit confused about it. This is why I am glad to have seen your post here. I should really start turning on the TV in a morning instead of the computer.

Acutely you can see how in the center of that I am. I am about 10 miles out of the city of Nottingham.

I am in the middle of robin hud country and am only 1 mile from the tree. My mum works at the holiday camp there.

acutely yes we do get them all the times just no where near to that scale.

I did feel one about 7 years ago. But that one we had last night was the biggest we have every had in our life times. I am not to far away from where the center of that one was tho.
