The current moderators will will become 'Admins', able to moderate as now, but also able to designate moderators for specific topics/forums (from among normal users).
Over the next few weeks I will create a reputation system. --- What a moderator can do to you, I can do to a moderator...

What if someone promotes a member to a mod that not everyone agrees with?
Are the Admins going to be able to demote them again? ---

Admins should only use it sparringly and when necessary. I’ll send a PM around to all admins when it’s all ready.
Are the Admins going to be able to demote them again?
Yes. And a given admin can demote someone that another admin promoted. --- What a moderator can do to you, I can do to a moderator...

What about abilities of the promoted members? Will they have all the powers current mods have? I think it might be kinda cool if the mods could choose from a couple different levels?
Maybe.. One just for editing and moving posts/topics and a second level that features the full range of current mod powers? ---

Damn one more with problems. I guess I’ll have to give the change password function back it’s own form again then. I think the issues are caused by some browsers, wrongfully, filling one of the password fields in --- What a moderator can do to you, I can do to a moderator...

Just to save you time.

Direct me to the post that you are trying to edit.

Please report how it goes... --- What a moderator can do to you, I can do to a moderator...
