Is that an Eva, cause that’s most of the results I got when I sesarched it up. Anyways this is more of a traditional giant monster battle. Evas would fall more so under the Mecha/Giant Robot Battle if anyone ever makes that topic.

Eva’s are mostly organic. Giant humans. They’re fitted with cybernetics to allow humans to control them. So they could fall under both categories...

But they can conscientiously operate on their own (berserker) And when they do, I’d definitely consider them giant monsters.

Alright, EVAs are kinda pushing it but I suppose they do count as giant monsters. (It’s been so long since I’ve seen the series I don’t remember much)
