I’m sure you aren’t intentionally mixing up the Movie and Comicbook versions of the Silver Surfer. The movie version was quite weak. He needed his board to access the Power Cosmic.
The comicbook version of the Surfer does not need a board to access his powers; the Power Cosmic is embedded into his soul and cannot be permanently removed (though they can be temporarily stolen), except by Galactus or death. Even if you shatter his board, he can reconstitute it from himself or from thin air.
I repeat, the comicbook version of the Surfer has flown through stars and supernovae without being affected in the slightest. A nuke would do nothing to him.

Being able to fly through stars is just a power givin to him it doesnt prove anything he doesnt have to be strong to be able to fly through a stare its just an ability that gulaxtis gave him and for speed well if he wasnt fast then he would be worthless in finding planets for gulaxtus now wouldent he every thing he has was given to him while Broly can build on what he has he can become more and more powerfull | |

Power Cosmic has no limits.Surfer has been able to amp his strength to the point he can ko Hulk,move so fast he gets to places lightyears away from his current location,increase his durability to the point he can take blows from Hulk,blow up suns,create black holes,etc.
